Hi Gary,
Nice house and pictures. I see you kept your logs all round and did not split them. Are you getting any gaps between the logs and mortar?

There is a few logs with shrinkage up to 3/16" . I am waiting until late August to seal them to make sure final shrinkage has occured. I did experiment on a few using a wet slurry of cement inserted and it seems to have worked fine.

Wow, looks great! Congratulations on building a beautiful cordwood home with your own two hands. It looks light and bright.
Nicely done. Thank you for sharing the fruits of your labor. Looks like your pets enjoy the cordwood home too!
Happy Trails,

It's always good to see pictures of a newly completed cordwood home - someones dream come to reality.
Congratulations Gary and I hope you enjoy many years of trouble free, comfortable living in Cordwood style.
